About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our freight forwarding office in the Greater Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry, specifically NVOCC operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations: Manage office staff, assign tasks, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Customer service: Provide excellent customer service, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Financial management: Handle invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including customs and import/export laws.
• Team management: Recruit, hire, and train office staff.
• Operational efficiency: Implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Report generation: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, particularly NVOCC operations.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and international trade.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
